Title
Dukakis wins New York
Description
Associated Press article reporting on the 1988 New York Democratic primary results. Michael Dukakis beat Jesse Jackson though Jackson had the support of about 90% of New York’s Black voters. Dukakis captured about 77% of New York’s Jewish vote. Perhaps, this Black-Jewish divide on the vote reflects continued tensions surrounding Jackson.
