Newspaper article published in the Ohio Jewish Chronicle detailing interviews of Jewish merchants in New York’s Harlem describing the rise of anti-semitism in the African American community. The American Jewish Committee’s race expert, Mr. Fleishman, attributes this rise of anti-semitic attitude to the complicated business relationship between the African American community and the Jewish community, in which the “mass stereotype [is] that the Jew exploits the Negro.”
